…why not bury some radials!? The rats nest of radial lines in my very small backyard was becoming quite an eyesore for me. I planned on waiting for the grass to grow and pull them down into the ground, but decided to give mother nature a little kick in the ass by burying them myself. Since the ground is quite saturated I was able to push the wire down about 2-3 inches with a wide slotted screwdriver. Halfway done and I’m already exhausted. Only 30 more radials to go. It did seem to make a difference with RFI issues in the house with that particular antenna.
Now to go back on the roof to coil the coax on the beam.
